There was an attorney on Fox and Friends this morning(just caught the tail end of it) that said that no money had ever changed hands in relation to the ‘Senate Seat Sale’ and that Blago would probably get off on that charge!! He has done nothing wrong but run his big fat mouth! I almost spilled my coffee....lol.
But imagine for a minute if this is true. Why would Fitz fire his legal gun so soon without having the actual exchange of bling for Blago? Is it true that because no money had yet changed hands that Blago is not guilty of a crime?
I know the question was asked yesterday by a few folks(Rush being one)...but I heard no one mention the scenario where Blago gets off because no money actually changed hands for the Senate seat.
Could this be a throw away affidavit by Fitz to make the world think he is doing something ‘big’ on the case, but all the while he knows it will be thrown out of court, thus insuring his job under an Obama administration by putting the matter to bed once and for all? The mind races.....lol
Good question ... why didn’t Fitz go for the sting? Did he pull the trigger to prevent Blago from the senate appointment? He can still make that appointment at this point in time, correct?
This is the tip of the iceberg, I’m afraid.
Cops, when observing a mugger pointing a gun at someone, don’t wait for the trigger to be pulled before taking the mugger down.
Likewise, methinks the investigators should not wait for the actual corruption of a Senate appointment before moving. Intent was made absolutely clear - shut it down now before any more damage is done.
Question: If a person repeatedly says they will kill the President, then by this attorney’s logic- do we have to wait until the President is dead or shot? If I conspire to commit a crime, and; I am stopped just before carrying out said crime, I doubt a judge or jury will let me walk.
