Unless a Special Prosecutor has been named to investigate the corruption in Illinois. They have a lot of leeway to take the investigation where it leads and the next President can’t make them go away.

So far, there isn’t one. Since Bush is *still* on his “new tone in Washington” tack, there isn’t likely to be one.

I hope so but it would not surprise me if this guy was canned at the first opportunity.
Funny how this guy was a hero to the left and now he’s a tool of the rightwing machine.
