I make my own ciggies for 70c a pack. That tobbacco has already been taxed at 40% plus the sales tax!

I do not have the data for 1980. All I know is that in the 2000s it has varied from $14-$17 Billion dollars and is actually declining (!!) as people are quitting.
It is money, no doubt, but if you look at our $3 Trillion budget, it is not a lot of money as a percentage.

What about his private apartment? I would think he ought to be able to go outside & smoke if he is allowed by Mrs 0. Do you go to polluting factories & complain about the smoke billowing from them? I try to be nice about smoking, don’t smoke around children or people who don’t smoke. However the rudest people I’ve ever met are ex & non smokers. If I am smoking outside I will walk away from people unless the people around me are smoking. What bugs me is the butts on the ground.
Your comment was so fine, I lit up another Eve cigarette. We do not go into restaurants that don’t allow smoking. Retaurants that allow smoking should ban those who don’t smoke as that is only fair. When the only tables left are in the smoking section, the non-smokers rush to take those tables. They should be arrested for taking our tables. Don’t they know they are going to die from stupidity if they sit in the smoking section? Wait, let me light up another Eve.

There are private establishments in DFW, where women dance nekkid. Am I personally happy with such behavior? No. But you dont see me harrassing those folk.
Do what you want in a private establishment. Just dont do it on public property

As for the $ amount... I bought mine at reservations which meant NO TAX$$ for the FED or State .. and the LINES at the shops are Consistently LONGER ...

Pretty much. Adultery is ok, smoking is not ok.
I'd prefer not to deal with my drug problems with drugs. Especially fancy chemo-pharmaceuticals whose chemical compounds never existed before.
