ABC Radio Networks launched Joe Scarborough into national radio syndication Monday (Dec. 8) on WABC-AM in New York, which will serve as the flagship for the program.
The Joe Scarborough Show airs weekdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Like he does on his MSNBC program, Morning Joe, Scarborough will cover the day's leading issues accompanied by his MSNBC co-host Mika Brzezinski, who will also serve as co-host of the radio program.
Morning Joe contributors Mike Barnicle and Pat Buchanan will also contribute to the radio show.
"We feel this partnership presents us with a strong business opportunity and a compelling piece of programming that stations will want to add to their lineup.
Joe and Mika have become an established brand and are both very familiar to the blue chip advertisers we work with," said Carl Anderson, senior vp of programming and distribution for ABC Radio Networks.
Both ABC Radio Networks and WABC-AM are owned by Citadel Communications.
Heck, he could start demanding one be mailed to him, and he would pick up a following.
I wonder if Mika knows about the dead girl found in Joe’s Pensacola office, just before he hastily resigned from Congress???
Probably not...
Liberals are usually uninformed.
I had forgotten so much of that Scarborough story, especially the weird fact that his assistant suddenly died around the time that Chandra Levy went missing.
Oh, Joe Scarborough, how lovely. He will be eaten alive on talk radio. Guaranteed.
I heard that Lou Dobbs will be taking over Dennis Miller’s spot on WOR.
Ya know I liked Dennis Miller’s show, it was a refreshing change from O’Reilly and Hannity. Lou Dobbs not so much, I’m thinking.
Naaa, I guess not. Maybe a separated birth. I won't be listening anyway.
Great, he can squint at the mircophone now too.
Curtis Sliwa was politically correct?
Sorry, I worded that incorrectly.
No, he’s never been PC at any time.
I agree. It was refreshing and kind of relaxing not to be hit over the head with repetition.
It’s going to be Morning in America for me from now on.
Can’t tolerate WABC or WOR. It’s 970 or 980 or 990 on my radio dial.
