I don’t believe his Mom had to be a certain age to transfer citizenship. She was an American. By this standard, millions of Americans would not be citizens. If Obama was born in this country, he is a natural born citizen.

It’s not about what you believe. The laws are not set by what some blogger named Bronxboy “believes”. The laws are there. You can refuse to believe their existence or not.

I think I have already sent you the law requiring her to be older than 18 to transfer citizenship.

And yes, if millions of Americans were born between 1952 and 1986, and one married parent was not a citizen and one parent was only 18, then they would not be citizens.

If they were born after 1986, in order for citizenship to transfer, the one US citizen parent would have had to have lived in the US for 10 years, at least two over the age of 14.

Agreed that if he was born here, it’s irrelevant.
