It’s not a good sign that the MSM is finally covering this story. I suspect they expect the SCOTUS to announce tomorrow that they’re not taking the case.

I think it is the exact opposite. They have no time left to cheerlead from the sidelines. They are anticipating something coming and feel that they need to get out in front of it so they can act like real journalists bringing the "breaking news" to John Q. Public.
