Do you not believe that the Lord will take care of us?
More specifically, in view of the circumstances in the other article, if we needed to make such extreme preparations, would he not have told us? He told Noah, he told Joseph, but all he said to the rest of us is when we see it coming down, don’t even go into your house to pick up your suitcase; just run for the hills.

I disagree. I believe the Lord expects us to take care of ourselves and others with his help and guidance. Turning tail and running in the face of adversity is not my concept of trusting in the Lord. Being prepared for what He places before me is how I show my trust and belief in Him and that He will take care of me. Placing myself and my family in danger is NOT doing His wish.
As for the folks in the other article, I do not see what happened there in the same manner as you did in regard to what He is telling anyone.
When you hightail it out of whatever situation you chose to run for without any preparation, I hope you run into someone like me who will be willing to share as He has asked us to do.
