Why is being against islam "Bigotry" ?

If you are against Islam, just say it, I do.
I’m totally opposed to Islam (and just not militant Islam) because I think its basic principles are inimical to the best values and ideals of Western civilization. I only mentioned “bigotry” because in our PC culture one is always attacked for any criticism - even if based on historical fact.
