I would thik that gays doing that stuff would be pretty controversial also.

There are already gay awareness days. Kids can wear shirts that say "Celebrate Diversity" or anything about "Tolerance". They can have special days where they have tape on their mouth, to visually symbolize how they're "silenced". They can have gay clubs in schools. The schools promote and sponsor mandatory diversity or tolerance work shops.

Its all pretty controversial stuff, and yet it happens. The only thing that slows it down, or possibly stops it is the ACLJ or other groups like it.

Meanwhile, should a kid wear a t-shirt that would say something like "Celebrate Straightness" (nothing ANTI-gay) he/she would have to remove it, because it would be "divisive" or "provocative".

So whats the big deal about a chastity ring? If it does say anything, somebody would have to hold the persons hand still and get up close to read it.

A chastity ring is nothing more than a symbol. To others its to symbolize, if you want a piece of meat, look somewhere else, I'm not interested.

But in reality it symbolizes right versus wrong. Morality vs immorality. It symbolizes that THERE IS a difference in this world. We're not all the same. And in the end, some ARE better than others.
