But there is so much more than just the BC in his situation. Having only 1 US citizen and 1 British citizen as parents - does this qualify for natural born (I say no) but the courts need to decide. Another issue is his travel in 1981. If he did have US citizenship did he relinquish it by applying for a passport - did he use his foreign visa to gain access to Columbia and/or Harvard? Did he ever legally change his name back to Barack Obama or is he still legally considered Barry Soetoro.

There is so much more to this deception!

My understanding is that if he were born in Hawaii the citizenship of his parents would be irrelevant. If you are born on US soil, you are a US citizen. He was adopted by his Indonesian stepfather and by that was given Indonesian citizenship. Supposedly if you become an Indonesian citizen, you must give up any other claim to citizenship. So where did that leave Barry? There is also the question of him not registering for the selective service when he was required to. On what passport did he travel to Pakistan in the 80s? Maybe he enjoys being a man of mystery.

Agreed. The birth certificate is interesting, but only the tip of the iceberg. And Obama claimed he’d make government “transparent” ...
