Perhaps, perhaps not. Even assuming that they did, there's still a reasonable possibility that the papers also took family announcements from the general public, which was and still is a common practice with small city newspapers.

what's your point?

even if you were correct you still don't learn anything from the announcement other than the birth was registered in Hawaii.

We knew that already, and do not dispute it.

The Announcement does NOT specify WHERE he was born, so we are nearer to establishing his eligibilty than before.

in other words, the Newspaper announcement reveals nothing and proves nothing.
