Kept Hamilton from running. Good enough for me.

Relevant part of the constitution:

"No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty-five years, and been fourteen years a resident within the United States."

Note that Hamilton was a citizen at the time of adoption, (1788), and he had been a resident within the U.S. since 1772. Hamilton was eligible to be president as soon as he reached his 35th birthday.

Actually, the Presidential qualifications in the U.S. Constitution were deliberately phrased in such a way by the Founding Fathers so that Alexander Hamilton was eligible for the Office.
