Pointing out differences between what the Bible teaches and what certain churches teach is NOT bashing anyone. It’s TRYING to point out the truth of the scriptures verses the tradition of man. Truth does hurt at times and you do have to do it with love. But even when you do, people think it’s hate.

No, but claiming that Mormons aren’t “Christian” IS Mormon-bashing. It is unkind, unnecessary and un-Christian. We oughtn’t to do it.

The flaw in that thinking is that intelligent, honest people differ in their interpretation of the Bible. For example, some can not find the doctrine of the Trinity in the Bible. Does that mean that anyone believing in the Trinity is not a Christian?
Why is it so hard for some people to have a little bit of intellectual humility? They can’t seem to fathom the difference between their particular opinion and absolute reality.
