If the guys/gals at the Federalist Blog http://federalistblog.us/2008/11/natural-born_citizen_defined.html are correct, it doesn’t matter whether he was born in the U.S.A or not. Kenyan citizenship transferred to him from his Kenyan father at birth. Their reading of the situation is that this would make him ineligible to be considered a “natural born citizen” under the constitution.

He would, at that point, have been declared ineligible by the document posted on his campaign website. Would that not be ironic?

That appears to be Donofrio’s argument and it’s worthwhile for the Supreme Court to take it on.
