Interesting idea. Someone has also said (don’t know if it’s true) that there are 57 Islamic states in the Muslim confederation.

Actually, I just googled it, and Snopes denies it. But in fact, it’s apparently true. There are 57 states and 3 observer states in the OIC, Snopes reports. It’s worth a look, if you want the details:

That’s exactly what Obama said, as I recall. He visited 57 states, but he hadn’t been to the other 3! Hmm.
