If Obama is the President for all of us, as he said on election night, and he knows that some of us are talking about this online, quite loudly, why won’t he address this? Why won’t he raise his glorious head and talk about how foolish this is, and here is his long form birth certificate, and make the right look stupid again, and be done with this? He darn well KNOWS this discussion and discovery is going on.
This is quite unique. But the Paul v Clinton case and massive campaign finance fraud have been unique.

This is not about merely being a citizen. It is about being able to demonstrate that you are a “natural born citizen” such that you are *eligible to serve as President of the United States.*
It’s not clear yet (until the SCOTUS addresses this, if it ever does) if “natural born citizen” is determined by birthplace alone, descent alone, or a combination of birthplace and descent (and if descent, then from whom-—mother, father or both).

Speaking of home births, my mom was born in 1910 at home on the farm and was delivered by my grandfather...and she has a birth certificate from the great state of North Dakota. Of course they were tired that Palm Sunday Morning that she was born...and so were the clerks as they listed her as a boy. It was discovered when she went to Nursing school in Fargo and the whole thing had to be sorted out..don’t ask how..I wasn’t there! Guess no one paid a whole heck of a lot of attention to this sort of thing until something pops up..

Also, how would the average phone-answerer at the hospital record department have any clue how to find out who was a patient there 40+ years ago?
That said, there needs to be some kind of official verification of Obama’s “natural born citizen” status.

This is key. The burden is on him to PROVE that he is a "natural born citizen," whatever that actually means at all.
If there is ambiguity in his records, he is (should be) out of luck.
One of the truly amazing things about this situation is that NO ONE, except, ostensibly, the candidate's own party hacks, "certifies" that the candidate is eligible. As if they know the facts and understand the law in a case such as this.
As if they even tried.

Obama also sent a close friend to Indonesia, allegedly to take care of his adoption/or whatever records there.
A friend of mine had to dig up old medical records stored on microfiche as part of her job at a hospital in St Paul, MN. I know they go back quite aways. It’s too late to call her at this hour. My curiosity will have me dialing the phone tomorrow. LOL
