That’s interesting. Do you have links showing the dates to be true? I’d like to show it to other people bacause it is a little weird.

A simple Google search should confirm those dates, and the link to the Illinois State Lottery is working (as of today).

The odds of it happening really aren’t that high. The odds of any particular combination of three turning up are one in one thousand. When you have multiple drawings per day, like Illinois, which has noon and evening pick 3. If the pick 3 happened twice per week (Wednesday and Saturday), twice each day, over a year, the odds are only 208/1000 that you will have the numbers 666 picked. That they are picked four times is 52/1000 odds, well within a reasonable statistical model for a year’s period. It is then just a matter of matching events to the dates they are drawn.
