Why is it that courts in the USA routinely rule against the interests of US citizens?It's more accurate to say that courts in the USA routinely rule in favor of the birth parents, regardless of citizenship.

That means that you should always be prepared to surrender your child at the dictate of the courts if you choose to adopt.

It's more accurate to say that courts in the USA routinely rule in favor of the birth parents, regardless of citizenship.I know that in some states (New Jersey comes to mind) an adoption is pretty much final once birth parents choose to give up their children. I would hope that more states adopt such a model.
