I live in NY, we all expected the people to vote for the Obamanation.

What the heck is Virginia and NC’s excuse?

"I RECENTLY SOLD ALL MY GUNS!!"

That's #1 on my to-do-list for today.

Don’t forget to include Virginia on that list.

I am ashamed to say that the Yankee invasion of Northern Virginia of recent years, coupled with the almost total government school indoctrination of the recent generation of voters, led to my beloved “Old Dominion” pissing away its electoral votes on the Obamessiah.

Since election day, I have not been able to bring myself to fly the Virginia flag at my house. My home County, Culpeper, went strongly against the Obamanation, so I now fly the white and black “Culpeper Minutemen” flag in its stead.

A lot of these “ideas” have already been attempted on a state by state basis. Last year alone there was a nearly worded identical piece of legislation introduced in 17 states with the purpose of ID stamping of ammo, making possession of unstamped ammo a crime, and making possession limits, purchase limits, and other related issues a crime.
Plus adding extreme taxes on a per bullet basis.

The firearm industry is well armed against drastic changes in the law. I am not so certain about the ammo industry being in the same good shape.

Fight the good fight!

I don’t know for certain, but I have my suspicions.

I have refused to fly the MA flag forever. I fly Old Glory and the flag of the US Navy.

I’m sorry you do not believe me, but I fear I am correct on this one.

There has been a near constant influx of large numbers of people from New York, New Jersey and New England into the Northern Virginia area for the last ten years or so.

While you are correct that Northern Virginia has been a liberal bastion for many years, it is only recently that its population numbers, when added to those of the liberal-leaning Tidewater and Richmond areas, were large enough to out-weigh the more rural (and geographically MUCH larger) areas of the state. Look at a county by county break-down of the vote in Virginia and you will see what I mean. The geographic blue/red map looks almost exactly the same as it has in Virginia’s elections for decades; but the sheer numbers of voters in the blue areas have pushed Virginia “over the top”, to the dark side.

I have lived in Virginia all my life, I currently live just outside the major “sphere of influence” of Northern Virginia and the Beltway, and I have personally witnessed the phenomena.

you could be right.

My neighbors have been leaving NY in droves (most it seems to NC and Florida). These people look for a lower tax place to live but they bring the liberal mentality with them and then bring in the kind of politicians that will increase their taxes. Truly convoluted.

I can’t imagine anyone in his right mind giving up his gun or registering same with a federal government. That article in the constitution is in there for good reason.

Relax. He probably won’t be able to get more than half of that list accomplished in his first term, and maybe only another third of it in his second. /s

..two guns and 200 rounds of ammunition is technically an arsenal.

That's not even a day at the range in NC.
