I don't think it is a good idea to push aside any republican, conservative/moderate/neo-con/even RINO types. Instead what every one should be doing is building a positive case for the candidate of their choice. Registered republicans are a minority already, why reduce that further down? After the self-described maverick McCain's defeat prospects are excellent the next nominee will be more conservative anyways. It would not be smart to antagonize any wing of the party and make them stay home in 2012. That will guarantee Zero 4 more years and more Ginsburgs on the SCOTUS.

The trash are already entrenched, they have already built networks and organizations and have already run primaries, we need to build a firewall around them right now if we stand any chance of their rino asses being blocked from snatching the next “old rino in line, gold ring”.

Our young firebrands need to be promoted, defended, and reinforced if they are to stand a chance of pushing aside something like a well funded Romney.
