Here are some things that you can do to honor the memory of the Holzbergs, and everyone who was murdered in this horrific attack.
Jewish women: light Sabbath candles tonight, and every Friday night. Bake challah.
Jewish men: put on tefillin
Everyone (Jews and non-Jews): donate charity to a worthy cause. Set aside some time for prayer, meditation, and Bible study. Perform a random act of kindness. Hug your family and tell them how much you love them. Send thank-you notes to our troops.

"donate charity to a worthy cause"
Last week I sent a donation to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. IFCJ does a great deal off good, espeically for poor and old Jewish people in Israel and helping new immigrants making aliyah.

My sympathies to you, Alouette, and to all observant Jews all over the world who have been hit by this awful tragedy.
Be strong; be resolute.
