Uncle Chip, I understand your point and I agree. My point was as it relates to SCOTUS and their potential decision based on supposed interpretation of the law, that I’m not sure if it has any bearing.

Are you suggesting that it will impact the Donofrio case in any way, given McCain is named as well?

Leo is full capable of determining if it could be used to back up his case, but what I am saying is that this Senate of ours will be voting in January on the acceptance of electoral votes for someone who does not meet the qualifications that they themselves unanimously resolved were necessary for natural born status.

It has bearing on the Senate's interpretation of those words "natural born" to which SCOTUS may very well defer. The battle may be fought in both places and in the Senate its own Resolution is ammunition against it.
