Russia says it is in contact with the Obama administration in a bid to convince it to normalize ties with Iran and solve the nuclear issue.
He said US President-elect Barack Obama would have to normalize ties with Iran to reach a solution to the nuclear dispute.
"We are doing it [bypassing the Bush administration and reach Obama's team] through our embassy in Washington D.C. and our contacts with people who are around Barack Obama," Ryabkov added.

Russia Has Contacted Obama Aides to Pursue Iran Nuclear Deal
I certainly hope Obama is some type secret weapon for our side!
Their influence in central and south America is growing by leaps and bounds and is trampling any vestinge remianing of the Monroe Doctrine.
China is not building its large modern navy or its foreign influence to play in a bathtub with and we'd best be on our guard...but with Obama, I am afraid weare going to be far from it.
Does President Obama have to actually vote “Present” on this, or just stand still? Can’t wait until the Russian Navy starts shipping nuclear missiles to Cuba.
OOOOoohhhhhh Barrrryyyyyy...der fuhrer summons you....better goose-step it on over.
I guess we didn't know we actually elected Medvedev as US president -- I doubt Obama will stand up to him.
Medvedev Sees Possible Compromise With Obama on Missile Defense
Russia’s idea of “solving the nuclear issue” involves the U.S. sitting back and watching Iran build nuclear bombs that they eventually will put atop missiles and launch towards Israel.
Sort of an updated “Final Solution”, if you will.
Were there ever official presidential knee pads ever made??? Looks like Obama is going to need a pair.
This is going to be a sad day for America’s posture as the leader of the free world.
An excellent analysis by John Bolton:
“If President-elect Obama carries through on where I think his real instincts lie on missile defense, which is not to continue it, I think in Moscow they will read that as responding to the threat and indeed the intimidation reflected in Medvedev’s speeches. “

I predict we will normalize relations with Cuba and Iran before his four years is over.
Another criminal violation of the Logan Act by an illegitimate Democrat usurper.

Which is precisely why to continue to pump money into The Chicom economy, albeit in the name of "Free Trade," was patently suicidal and outright ridiculous.
Russia is just stirring the pot. However I am sure there will be light blue, knee pads provided by the new Office of the President-Elect with the lettering readily readable. LOL.
Goodbye Israel. They better rely on someone else because unfortunately this is not looking good for them.
And the Russians still have the missiles that the Soviet Union left behind.
I see it coming. The US will give Iran full security assurances. Regime change will be off the table, the sanctions will end, Iran will get it’s way in Iraq, Lebanon and Afghanistan and in exchange the nuke program will be stopped (officially). Then it’s going to BITE back big time.
Exactly...and amen.
U.S. to Russia: He’s not President yet. Get over it!
And to think 70%+ Jews voted for Obama. Is it just me, or, do Jews purposively put themselves in dire predictaments throughout history by trusting the wrong freedom fighters side?
I don’t trust anything from the Middle Eastern gutter press (Iran’s PressTV in this case) but this makes sense.
The Russians and Iranians got exactly what they wanted, a weak, idealistic US president like Jimmy Carter.
They are just jumping with joy, super eager to deal with this clown!
