Probably because the plight of Hindus at the hands of Islamic terrorists in India has been ignored up until now. All of the sudden we have Westerners as victims. India has had many years of September 11's and nobody in the enemedia has said much about it.
I'm offended by it myself and I don't even live there.
But that was the choice of the terrorists. And 9/11 in NYC and DC and PA wasn’t about a long-standing fight between specific religious or cultural groups, it was about a handful of extremists trying to create chaos and instability. Isn’t that what happened in Mumbai two days ago?
I suppose I can see them being miffed that western media is more interested in western targets, but it does stand to reason. It’s not as if everyone in North America was totally unsympathetic to terrorism victims in the past, everywhere in the world. And if western media discussed a major terrorist attack to its western audience in terms with which they’re most familiar, I don’t see why anyone should be that surprised.
