Leave it to the MSM to deliver a not-so-subtle attack on Palin for campaigning with Chambliss.

What's the benefit to the state of Alaska?

It's just beyond the pale that she would take one day out of her trip - a trip paid for by the Chambliss campaign - and campaign for a fellow Republican. Of course, Obama missing hundreds of votes in the senate was never a big deal at all.

I hope Sarah's presence will provide a big boost to Saxby. Any idea on what kind of crowds will be there?

The comments on adn.com are disgusting. I guess a governor w/ an 80% (even down to 69% app rating post election) has detractors even up there (although I get the feeling many were from out of state). All they keep saying is that she is a prim ma donna and needs to stay there and govern. How the hell do they know whether she’s governing or not??? There are such things as conference calls!! How many other governors travel and campaign? All governors were invited to the Philly conference on Monday. I just don’t get these people. They are nuts!!!

On the flip side, her spokesman’s reason for the GA visit was pretty lame, does he not realize this state’s seat is the 60 firewall??

The venues for the rallies in Georgia are indoor areans since it is cold. The ones being held in Augusta, Savannah and Perry can old 10,000+, and the one near Atlanta about 15,000+. My guess is that they will be filled to capacity. Since they are traveling by bus to the various cities, they might stop along the way for some unscheduled campaigning.

Both Bill Clinton and Al Gore were in Atlanta, Bill drew 3,000 and Al drew about 500. Donna Brazile, Gore’s former campaign manager, was in Atlanta yesterday speaking at Spelman College, an all black college, and her “crowd” was 75 students and facalty, kind of pathetic when you think about it. Even Clinton and Gore’s crowds were pathetic since they were held in Atlanta which is a democrat stronghold.
