“I don't think we can recover.”

That is the American spirit. Thank GOD Washington did not feel that way... or our Founders... because they faced tyranny far worse than hussein the POS idiot. He can damage us but he cannot destroy us as long as millions of us worship GOD and his chosen SON. They can't kill all of us and I can assure you that rooskies cannot hold anything south of the Mason Dixon line.

As a Christian, I try to figure out how the events in Revelation will play out. What is America’s role? It doesn’t seem America has much of one at the end, which has confounded me a bit. I may be labeled a kook, but my guess is that once the rapture takes place, this nation and the world will be a changed place. The majority of people left will be far from God. There will still be good people left, but I’m afraid they will be outnumbered by people of a one world mentality. I still think America would be one rough nation to tame and it would be quite a fight.

Regardless, we need to fight for what’s right, pray for our nation to repent and turn to God. I don’t think it’s impossible for our nation to fall. I’ve read enough history books to see mighty nations have fallen before. We should never give up hope and should keep fighting, but we shouldn’t be over confident. Maybe God is helping us all realize our need of Him. While the founders were self-reliant to a degree, they trusted God above all else. When we cease to be good, we will cease to be great.
