The right of the people to keep and bear arms was put into the Constitution for this reason. When the Government becomes unresponsive to the law of the land and becomes a dictatorship, the people have the right, no duty, to overthrow that Government.
But the Government has a long way too go before that course of action is warrented. It is however heading in that direction on a bullet train.
