He mentioned that TONIGHT'S broadcast (Tuesday, December 23, 2008) would be his last broadcast as anchor of "Special Report with Brit Hume". I wonder who will take over that anchor spot from now on...
I'm heartbroken... I'm really gonna miss Brit! Hope he returns often to the Fox News Channel.

The tributes to Brit Hume were fabulous...including both Presidents Bush and VP Cheney. Carl Cameron positively gushed his gratitude to Hume.
If I heard correctly, Brit's replacement will be Bret Baier. After a vacation, Brit will return to FNC in a new role.
