He is one true gentleman.
I was crushed when his son committed suicide.
It would appear that the loss of his son brought him to a special relationship with The Son, and for that I am thankful.
I had noticed that he alluded to his "faith" on more than one occasion, when fitting.
Though I shall personally miss seeing him and hearing his voice regularly, I understand that he finds that life is about more than his career, no matter how very good he is at it.
Godspeed Brit and know that we hold you in the highest esteem.
Hopefully, he can utilize his exceptional communications skills to further the cause of Christ. Perhaps as a guest speaker at churches, perhaps host an occasional "faith based" TV series, perhaps on radio. There is much he could do that does not require the daily grind of a national newscast.
