Would you please stop repeating yourself? We get it, allowing Ruby to kill Oswald was inexusable in your mind. I defied anyone to tell me that a president couldn’t be assassinated in any city. The Ruby part is another matter. Although, I understand that it’s difficult to stop a lone madman from shooting anyone he wants, be it a president or a president’s assassin. At least I’m willing to cut a little slack.
I think the guy’s head is caught in a loop. Repeating the exact comments over and over. Go to any bar at closing time and you can witness the exact same thing.
The SS basically had their men in and around the President, within the motorcade. The police department job is to assist and securing areas where they are not secured by the SS. The assassination of Kennedy, was not only the fault of the SS but the Dallas Police Department.
Look the shooter shot from about 190 feet, over and above the limo...It was a perfect snipers nest.
The advance SS team should have ID this and other perfect shooting platforms well in advance, and sought advice from DPD...The SS should have directed law enforcement to assist in covering/sweeping these areas, or just securing them from entry until the motorcade past. DPD should have been very aware of these *perfect* close range snipers nests along the route.
This "screw up" is text book...
Rest assured, the windows, rooftops etc, above any motorcade transporting the POTUS today, are watched, secured and or swept prior and during any high level motorcades operations, within target range. Even the manhole covers are swept and secured, including dozens of other measures that are now incorporated into keeping the POTUS alive.
Dallas was like shooting ducks at very close range.
Kennedy getting his head blown off while riding with his wife was bad enough....But when they allowed Oswald to be killed within the police department..Well, what can anyone possibly say, besides, "They screwed up really bad".
