Politicans seize on issues to increase their own power.

If Feingold truly knew that rampant criminal activity was going on during the Bush Administration, shouldn’t he have done more than blog about it?

Feingold is just jockeying for donations from Moron.org with this kind of nonsense.

He or congress have nothing to say about the matter. Clintoon proved the point.

Bush does’nt owe the democrats anything.

He owes most of them a good punch in the face for the abuse they showered on him. I’d pardon everyone just to piss them off. But, he is a bigger person than I and a better sense of humor I suspect.

Wasn't it the Puerto Rico separatists as opposed to the Weather underground?

Shut up, you gold-plated hypocrite. Bill Clintoon pardoned drug dealers who supplied his brother, Mark Rich, crooked carnies from AR, FLN terrorists, etc. etc. and the Dems love him so much they are recycling everyone from Hillary on down to serve in the Obama cabinet. His shady pardons didn’t hurt Clinton one bit and his “legacy” was extolled as a Golden Age by Democrats during the past campaign.
Bush should pardon everyone he ever had a cup of coffee with and last of all, he should pardon himself. If he doesn’t, Laura will be living in Dallas and he will be living in Levenworth. The Dems won’t rest until they jail him and Cheney, and Cheney certainly deserves better than that for his service to the country.

If President Bush cares about his place in history, he should think twice before issuing pardons that call his judgment, and the integrity of the rule of law, into question.

Hey Russ! Tell it to BJ Clinton!

Jerk!

The power of the pardon is close to absolute. Short of interfering with their own impeachment,...

...once again the rats get it wrong, The President can pardon himself if he deems it. Notice how they skip over the fact that clinton let Holden take the leap over the Rich incident, by saying he went along with Holden's assessment while stuffing his pockets with the cash and a new sax

Yeah. Where were you with that arguement when Clinton was issuing his pardons, Diane?

Russ, go have a brew with your old buddy McCain and tell him your troubles. If you want to talk about pardons think: Holder and Clinton and their Marc Rich/terrorist pardons.

I know Bush has a spine.

He doesn’t use it a lot, but I’d sure like to see him use it NOW.

Why do you suppose he won’t pardon those agents?

In my book, they would be numbers 1 and 2 and Libby would be 3.

When you look at Clinton’s pardon list, you can fully understand how he knew so many people who’ve met untimely deaths, just by who is left alive.

Tell you what, Feingold

Introduce a bill that repeals yours and McCain’s campaign finance law, made moot now that Obama decided to accept unlimited campaign finance donations, and then we might just take you a little seriously

Clinton used the pardon power a number of times to lessen the impact of draconian mandatory minimum sentences for certain drug offenders.

FALN terrorists ; Banking Fraud; Weather Underground members; Marc Rich; Susan McDougal; Roger Clinton ... etc
