“There’s a reason it’s called the Pig Science.”

Why is that? It seems to bore most people. They seem to think it is the same as having an opinion on the “Best Movie.” It is not perfectly mathematical but it is not completely random and personal choice either.

well it does not help the image that the ‘experts’ on the economy are surprised every time economic stats are released - i am wondering how experts are always wrong but retain their title of expert

It’s the misuse of Economics that bothers me. Not Economics itself. It’s misuse makes it a pig science.
