Good money after bad. So, how much has the Prince made on his investment since 1999?
He’s lost $13 billion this year.
I believe this article is in error. He held five percent and increased that stake slightly in the nineties. The sheikh, who has taken a huge bath in C (Citi) (whose shaare are numbered in the billions) is trying to re-coup his losses. He is no longer one of the five or so richest persons on the planet.
