Perhaps the clout of talk radio is vastly overrated and while it may help educate people to the issues, how many voters do they convert and to what end if their candidate loses?

Another example would be Olbermann; I can’t imagine anyone except a diehard left wing liberal even bothering to listen to him and therefore, his ability to convert a Republican to vote for Obama would seem to be non-existent. In both cases they conduct a business and I have no quarrel with that; whether anything is accomplished though is questionable.

Oh, I agree. That's why I wonder why so many people here get so upset with Olbermann being on the air. If he's not persuading anyone, then what's the beef.

Same for the left with Limbaugh and Hannity.
