If you equate conservativism with social conservativism, we’d agree. Conservativism, however, goes well beyond social issues.

Libertarian Platform: Statement of Principle:

“...People should not be forced to sacrifice their lives and property for the benefit of others. They should be left free by government to deal with one another as free traders; and the resultant economic system, the only one compatible with the protection of individual rights, is the free market.”

How many of the current GOP ‘leaders’ would agree with that statement?

Whatever. As long as you can ‘resolve’ your issues with gay marriage, gay adoptions, legalized cocaine and legalized partial-birth abortions.
