I think it is for the voters to decide what she is in the next election. And so what on the agressive media approach, everyone has a book, everyone gets on late night TV and everyone does the Sunday morning talking heads rounds. It is what politicans do and people in the news do. Is Newt not getting enough interviews and becoming jealous? If anything, he should push her forward. You don’t see a rising woman outside of Hillary Clinton on the Democratic Party side and it is a weakness of the Democratic party that can be exploited that can be used for coalitions to win elections.

I dunno. I don't dislike Palin, I like her values. But I don't think she is a good spokesman. Let's be honest, she rambles a lot about nothing half the time she is talking and people notice that. Sure, she's a fine example of a role model and a good conservative, but we need more than that. We need those qualities in someone who stands up and their mere presence demands respect. Palin doesn't draw that out of me, there is no power behind her. I'm not bashing or anything, I really do like her. I just don't think she is there yet. I'd like to see her rise from a true republican cabinet position or something, get a few years of hard-core insider under her belt. Build up that respect so it is solid. I'd rather try and see what Clarence Thomas can do. I really want to see Thompson give it a serious shot. There are several others, but I really don't think Palin is the one.

And as far as "the voters get to decide" ..., well, that didn't work out for us this year. Someone else picked our guy for us. I'm still trying to figure out who it was. It sure wasn't us.

Ok, flame away! I got my suit on
