Yes, at the bottom I think Bush fatigue and the economy were the biggest factors in the election. The mere presence of Bush on the scene was the dems biggest advantage. The good news is, on Jan 20 that advantage vanishes and the dems will actually have to do something. Mere Bush-bashing won't be enough.
Hopefully the Republican Leadership REALIZES where the problem is, acknowledges its base is far more conservative than RINOs give it credit for being and shape up.
If not the G.O.P. will be D.O.A. and another party will replace them.
