I know what you mean. I lived in El Paso for 15 years. At a reunion, I was asked if I made it to Dallas often.

You can imagine his surprise when I informed him that El Paso is 600+ miles from Dallas.

Libs generally don't know jack about geography.

When I was going to school in NY, I ran into people who thought that Kansas City was still without paved roads and that we had cattle walking the dirt roads.
