Our side either allows itself to be hung by the very principles we proclaim (though we don’t have to do that), or they don’t have any principles other than money and power, to begin with. The former is even worse than the latter, as it allows us no room to fight back.

Here are my principles: I am in favor of Liberty for myself, my descendants, and my fellow countrymen. I will oppose any who would enslave us, by any means available to me. I will not feel myself bound to be "nice", "polite", or "fair" when dealing with people who would enslave me or steal what I worked for. Period.
