Not saying you shouldn’t have replied as you did, I was just making the point that we honestly don’t know who holds the parties accountable.... there IS NO PRECEDENT for this, nor law or procedure for verifying the eligibility for POTUS. Everyone wants to shift the responsibility to someone else, and nobody in our system has the balls to stand up for the constitution. I think SCOTUS knows this is gonna be big... whether he makes it into office or not.

Holding the parties accountable for determining who can serve as President may not be a Constitutional issue because the parties do not offer this direct choice to the voters. The parties only offer the voters the choice of electors to the electoral college. I think this is why Berg was not considered to have had standing.
