The one SCOTUS ruling I BRIEFLY looked at stated he needed to perform a deed of affirmation AFTER the age of majority.
I am just NOT sure if travelling on a foreign passport qualifies ...
I have nothing wrt to that to link or cite. I will say that it makes no sense to believe that merely traveling on another passport deprives one of citizenship. Look at the case of a family from Indonesia with a US citizen child if the family travelled it would have to use Indonesian passports including the child. It isn’t like he could just go to an embassy and receive a US passport.
