It is an old book, written in the 30’s, about a fascists take over of the USA. Ironically, it was written by a liberal who was concerned of the direction of the Democrats of the time.
Found it at the library & checked it out! One book of his I read long ago, “Arrowsmith”. Don’t recall much about it.
