Awhile back I flew to Atlanta from Boston and they placed me, a young woman alone next to another young woman with a baby. Well, that baby took to me and sat in my lap/arms the entire trip. I even walked off the plane holding the baby. The mom was grateful as she was worn out, and when I walked off the plane the dad was there and upon seeing me he said, “that’s my baby, but you’re not my wife.” I swear the airline put me next to her on purpose so as to mitigate the potential problems of a crying baby. That baby never cried once!
That mother was lucky to have you! I remember the nightmare of traveling with a one month old screaming the whole way! It sure would be nice to be able to access travel records for that era to find out one way or another exactly when Ann made the trip to Seattle and if she was pregnant at the time!
