It would be easier for them, yes—and what about the rest of us? Because by giving him a pass they would be telling him and the people that the Constitutional requirements don’t really matter, we don’t know exactly if you were born here or not, but let it go. OK: That’s the first domino down.The rest are to fall, and rapidly. Now, we know that the Constitution has been twisted a lot thru the years, Roe v Wade, the Warren court decisions, but we have managed to struggle along in one piece. Until now. If the Court lets this go, we are finished as a Republic. We will have a republic in name only—People’s Republik of Amerika.

One angle the Supreme Court might take is the danger of the executive branch of our guvmint being taken over by some foreigner with tons of money (neglecting all the evidence that Obama is exactly that) with the intent to destroy it. That was one reason why this provision was put into the constitution in the first place. By limiting elegibility to those who would be more likely loyal to the republic, our founding fathers knew this country needed protection from those who would wish ill upon it.
