My theory is that Keyes had the goods on Obama from his run in in Illinois.
Running for President would give him standing.
Being joined by a person from California, who has the largest number of electorates and a more liberal “standing” criteria is no accident.
Keyes knew he had to have all this in place to do what is right to save the Constitution, which he loves.
