Personally, I don’t think Hillary would accept the job. But the question is, why would Obama want her out of the Senate? Does he think she wouldn’t run against him in 2012 if she was his Sec. of State? And, who does he have in mind to replace her in the Senate if she did take the job? What Democrat in NY would he recommend to run for her Senate seat? Paterson is Governor, and Andrew Cuomo has his eye on the Governor’s Mansion. I live in New York State and can’t think of anyone.
How about the Democrat that was going to run if Hillary did not-Nita Lowry? Hope I spelled her name right.
If I was David Paterson, I would name David Paterson. I’m sure that he curses Eliot Spitzer every day for the financial mess he dropped in his lap.
