Why would Al refuse? Pay cut? Or, is the title of 'Czar' simply not powerful enough for the delusional, energy hogging hypocrite?

Climate Czar? That is one of the stupidest ideas I have heard.

If he were to be the “czar” he might be put in a position of having to publicly debate his stance on global warming, and he couldn’t have that! No surprise he didn’t want the job.

This webpage is broke again. Saying ‘Algore’ too many times possibly could cause paranoid withdrawal.

As stupid as Al Gore is, he recognizes a box seat on doomed ship.

President-elect Barack Obama's transition team is flirting with creating a White House "Climate Czar," but climate change (emphasis added) crusader Al Gore says he doesn't want the job. Don't let the Washington Times pull a fast one on anybody. Note how the politically correct term "global warming" has now "evolved," as Democrats say, into the term "climate change."
Despite the politically correct rants of misguided global warming alarmists like Al Gore over the past several years, consider the following. Since the oceans cover more than half the earth's surface, oceans are regarded as a major indicator of global warming. But since the global warming mafia is evidently at a loss to explain why the Argo System oceanic temperature probes have actually shown a slight decrease in ocean temperatures over the last several years, instead of apologizing to the public for their false alarm, global warming alarmists have slickly morphed "global warming" into "climate change." Consider the following links about decreased ocean temperatures and the Argo System.

Algore might have to actually answer a question if appointed.

Even Albore knows that it is way more profitable to cheer the moonbats on from the sidelines, and let them take the heat when the public objects to what they do in his name. He likes being St. Al, doesn’t want to have to get his hands dirty.

It's probably more to do with the realization that, rather than being the "climate czar", his real duties would be more in the realm of "climate liar-in-chief".

Al Gore knows he would be asked the simple question —
Can you prove that man is causing global warming? Pop goes his head, and all of his oinvestments.
He simply cannot get that level of exposure, who knows who would be able to ask “the question” in a press conference.
Pay more in taxes so government can pretend to control the weather. Of course, government scientists will report on what we need to do, and how we are progressing.
Anyone spot the obvious problem?

Gore was already VP and wanted to be president, so why would he want to serve at a much lower capacity in Obama’s administration?
he has all the money he wants and can get much more publicity in the private sector.
