I agree on the 1911. I have Taurus PT92 and 911 Millennium Pro for various uses and reasons.
Most 45’s are loaded with useless bells and whistles that you don’t need and IMO, if you are not a professional, will only confuse the user when it ‘goes down’.
Safety off and shoot with a standard 1911. What more do you need?
