I really can't remember the uphill trek. The Navy and Marines down in Company B usually ended up at the beach on Fridays,
It was a traditional thing.
And the sealions sucked.

Where we headed, down hill, was for the NAVPGS on Friday nights. Off to the Ney Award winning Chief of the Mess there. It cost a little and gave us a break from Friday fare at Bravo Company's chow hall.
