Actually, I like living in a country with publicly funded highways and bridges, etc. I'm also - gasp! - in favor of public education. Then again, my faith precludes me from a survival-of-the-fittest mentality that the libertarian party espouses.

And just how do you think you'd pay for the military with no taxation?

And publicly funded mortgage bailouts and publicly funded airline bailouts and publicly funded automobile industry bailouts and publicly funded housing and publicly funded health care and publicly funded food for the indolent and publicly funded education (ops you already mentioned that one) and publicly funded crucifixes in bottles of urine and publicly funded stadiums for private sports teams to make a profit from and publicly funded radio and televsion that regurgitates statist propaganda and publicly funded bridges in Alaska that go nowhere and publicly funded prescription drugs and publicly funded ethanol production that you pay for twice, etc. How does your faith feel about the aforementioned publicly funded crucifix in a jar of urine btw? How does your faith justify taking form the productine element of society to subsidize the life styles of the non productive elements. If I steal somthing from you and give it to a poor person am I not stealing? (Or in keeping with your earlier comment if I stamp a little picture of myself on your money, then is it mine?) Or do the ends justify the means? And pay for the military by subscription like the neighborhoods in NO did with Blackwater to protect them from the cops.
